What’s the next big thing in bodybuilding and sports nutrition?

Adam asked:

The last big thing, since I remembered, in bodybuilding and sports nutrition was creatine. It came out about a decade ago, and all my friends started using it and benefited from it. Now, what’s new in the market and will be widely used in the future?

I use creatine right now…..but I agree – I’d like to hear/read what the ‘new’ items are…..to make us ‘big’ in the future.

    Good question.

I personally think that the next big thing for products would be a blend. You might already seen on a lot of magazine ads about protein blend (a mixture of whey, casein, egg, micellar protein and other protein type). This is supposedly good as it will satisfy your body’s requirement of protein for either short and longer hours (each protein got absorbed at a different speed). So apart from this kind of blend, I think we are going to see a lot more variety of blends in the future, that might erase the need for a lot of supplements on your kitchen. An all in one.

Beta Alanine is supposedly the next big thing.

There are some very popular supplements right now that use it like Controlled Labs Purple Wraath and NO Shotgun.
